I have quite fond memories of Montreal and particularly Riverdale. It's hard to believe that so many years have gone by !

Michael Georges and I were married in October 1970. We lived in Pincourt for awhile then moved to Waterloo for Michael to go back to school (that was fun with a 3-year old and a 5-year old in tow). Sold the house and arrived in Waterloo with no job prospects and nowhere to live!!!! Luckily I found work at the University of Waterloo Library and it was all good, turned out very well for us. We lived in married student residence for about 4 years, then after graduation, moved to Guelph (Aberfoyle), where we've been ever since. Our two "boys," Jason ( who will marry Jill in 2005!) and Steven, are now 30 and 32. We are living in the country and Michael is raising daylilies as a hobby (I might add a quite expensive hobby!). We also have a yellow Labrador Retriever named Haley. Michael is teaching at the University of Toronto. I've been at the University of Guelph for the past 22 years, where I do administrative work and student counselling for undergrads in the Women's Studies Program. Once Michael was settled and done with school, I also went back when I was 40 and graduated with a B.A. in Women's Studies/Sociology in 1994. There is no doubt that our years as students were some of our best, we enjoyed them so much!

I am trying to get to the reunion, but don't know if I'll be able to make it. I know it will be wonderful for everyone who goes. I'm happy to have stayed in touch with old friends from Riverdale, especially Sandy dePol, Donna and Dwayne Byrne, Diane Bedard, Jeanette Pedlar and Sandra Roseberg !
